Emergency Conservation Plan

An Emergency Energy Conservation Plan provides for a systematic reduction of energy consumption to 20-30% of normal. Emergency reduction strategies will be drafted by the Haines Borough Energy and Sustainability Coordinator and Commission for review by the Haines Emergency Local Planning Committee (HELP). The final Emergency Energy Conservation Plan, when approved by the Borough Assembly, will become part of the Haines Emergency Operations Guide.
